What to expect:
Your Physical Therapist will discuss with your reason for seeking treatment. We will review your pertinent medical history and symptoms.
Your Physical Therapist will conduct an extensive examination. This usually involves assessing: Strength, Motion, Flexibility, Posture, Balance, Mobility and Movement Patterns.
Your Physical Therapist will review a detailed plan with you to improve your situation.
Lastly, your Physical Therapist will initiate an individualized treatment plan with you and send you home with a program to work on outside of the clinic.
Since you will only spend one to three hours a week receiving treatment at High Desert Physical Therapy, what you do before and after treatment is very important. Follow-through with your Home Exercise Program and Activity Modification is likely to help you attain your goals much faster.
